Tjap Batik Class

Some pieces from a workshop today at ArtfulEndeavors in Raleigh with the wonderful Liz Miller. We used Tjap (chop) stamps to apply intricate wax images onto rice papers and then used watercolor paints for color. Very fun and versatile art.

Okay now you need to fill me in on what Tjap (chop) stamps are! The colors and pattens are great, would be wonderful used in a collage.
